A new stock exchange is set to launch in 2025, offering 23-hour 24 hour trading.

A new stock exchange set to launch next year is on track to offer nearly round-the-clock trading on business days, pending final regulatory approvals, 24 Exchange announced on Wednesday. The 24X National Exchange, based in Stamford, Connecticut, is scheduled to debut in the second half of 2025. 

It will operate from 4:00 a.m. ET to 7:00 p.m. ET on weekdays, with the potential to expand to a 24-hour schedule, from 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday to 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, following a one-hour pause each day. This expansion will depend on approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
